Technology in the Classroom (Mary Prevost and Virginia Nalbandian). PHS enters the new era of math education: a classroom set of laptop computers will allow math students to learn interactively and independently.

Nordic Walkers (Robert Jordan).
The emphasis is on life-long fitness as BRS and Middle School students learn the importance of walking as a daily activity.

Educational Innovation

Since 1993, the Pleasantville Fund for Learning has been making grants to students and teachers in the Pleasantville School District to provide innovative tools for learning and creativity in our schools. Every student in the Pleasantville Schools has experienced "hands-on" learning enhancements thanks to the generosity of PFFL supporters.

Grants

Art, music, technology, languages, physical education, math, science, social studies, character education, study skills ... students have experienced enhancements in virtually every curriculum area due to PFFL grants.
